Old Spring Grovians’ Roll of Honour - WW II

Compiled in 2005 by Peter Salter (1958)

One thing which struck me as quite strange whilst a young lad at Spring Grove was the absence of any memorial to those Old Spring Grovians who made the supreme sacrifice during the Second World War; particularly odd when I knew that Isleworth County had honoured their boys who were killed.  I have often wondered why this might have been.   After much research, together with help and encouragement from several seniors, the list below has been drawn up as an attempt to right a wrong, especially as we approached sixty years since the end of the war.
